Webinar: Advanced Medline Searching In-Person

Do you need to search the biomedical literature for a specific research question? Would you like to learn how to search a database in a systematic manner? This webinar goes beyond the basics of searching and gives you a thorough understanding of how to search Medline using advanced search methods.

Learning outcomes:
⦁    Understand the difference between PubMed and Medline 
⦁    Be able to use the Advanced Search (ie Search Fields and Search Tools modes) in Medline via Ovid
⦁    Apply advanced search operators
⦁    Understand and search controlled vocabulary terms, ie MeSH terms
⦁    Save your searches, set up alerts and export your search results
⦁    Use search filters

Audience: HDR candidates, ECR, and any researchers wanting a refresher on systematic searching approaches
